Dubai (Berberatimes.com) a bilateral meeting was held between the Minister of Finance and Planning of the Republic of Somaliland and officials from the African Development Bank, which was analyzed as the African Development Bank to develop Somaliland.
During the meeting, a new plan was agreed upon for the African Development Bank to invest in the development of Somaliland, and the parties agreed that the African Development Bank’s support to Somaliland should prioritize the priorities of Somaliland’s development plan based on the five-year national development plan in progress.
Also, the priorities that both parties agreed to focus on are economic development and job creation, through investment in livestock, agriculture, fish and greening of the area, which are important for primary production, water production, the development of economic infrastructure, in particular, energy, roads and airports, and ports, information development and sharing.
All these points are among the main pillars of Somaliland’s national development plan, from 2023 to 2027.
