Hargeisa (Berberatimes.com) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, His Excellency Muse Bihi Abdi, this morning inspected work at Hargeisa General Hospital and Mohamed Adan Sheikh Children’s Hospital (MAS).

The president, during his inspection, observed the smooth running of the service activities at the general hospital in Hargeisa, and he went one by one to the different parts of the hospital where extensive work was being done to serve the patients there.

President Muse Bihi Abdi also visited the Mohamed Adan Sheikh Children’s Hospital, and saw with his own eyes how well the children are being served.

The director of the general hospital in Hargeisa, Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Osman and the director of MAS Children’s Hospital, Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jiir, who spoke there, informed the president about the efficient services provided by the two hospitals to the public and the children brought there, and clearly stated that they provide efficient services that satisfied the community.

Director General of the Ministry of Health Development, Dr. Mohamed Abdi Xergeye, also thanked the president for his visit, and pointed out that they have put in a lot of effort to help the vulnerable people in the government-run hospitals, as they provide efficient and free services.

The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health Development, Mr. Liban Yusuf Gaahnuug, on his part welcomed the president to the general hospital in Hargeisa, and told about the extensive development that has taken place in all public hospitals under the control of the government.

The President spoke about the rapid progress made by the general hospital in Hargeisa, and he greatly praised the leaders and the various staff who work there and efficiently serve the patients who will be served there, and expressed his gratitude to them. “I am grateful to all the health community, may God bless us, may God grant peace and development to our country and people. “Work hard and work together for the common good,” said President Muse Bihi Abdi.

The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Muse Bihi Abdi expressed his happiness that young people who studied in the country are doing quality service for their people, and dealing with diseases that were difficult to deal with in the country, and he said, “Youth Most of them were educated by their parents and self-educated. Today, doctors are in a very good place, they can do all the work, and they use it to perform heart surgery. It is a great joy for the nation and everyone.”

Finally, the president of the nation specially inspected the eye department of the Hargeisa hospital where successful operations are being performed on more than 600 (six hundred) patients who have been treated for vision problems.
